* Rodney Riffle Benefit December 3rd
If you haven’t heard, Rodney Riffle (well known as a member of the Bernies crew and as the vocalist and guitarist for Scab Head) recently passed away. Rodney has been a constant figure in the Columbus music scene for some years and has done quite a bit for us as well as other bands over the years. Friday December 3rd there is a benefit show down at Bernies to raise money to purchase Rodney a Headstone. The show features: Ryan Reacharound, Necropolis, Dirt Farmers, Boris, Neimet, and Painter, and More TBA. It’s going to be a good show for a great cause so head down, show your support, raise your glasses for Rodney, and give what you can to help out with the Grave Marker fund.

* Friday December 10th
We have a kick ass show lined-up for you on Friday December 10th down at Bernies. We’re pulling out all the stop for this one and have lined up A Planet for Texas, Legbone, and (My Life as a) Teenage Werewolf to help us give the end of the year a kick in the ass. It will be one hell of a time so head down, drink some beer, and have some fun. The Show starts around 10pm and Legbone is starting off the night and we are finishing it, so head out early and stay late.

* New Live Recordings Coming Soon
Our Friend Julie has been taping some of our recent shows on her mini-disc player and the results have been damn good. We’re currently working on mixing and mastering some of the better tracks of unreleased songs to put up on the site. They should be available in the next couple weeks for live recordings of some of previously unreleased material, such as Punk Rock Girls, Self Destruction, Society (Subhumans Cover), Devil Sign, Jerry was a Metalhead, and a couple of classic covers back from 1999 that we found lying around. So check back soon to give them a listen.

* Free The West Memphis Three
Saturday September 18th we’re playing a Benefit show for the West Memphis Three Legal Defense Fund at Cafe Bourbon St The show features us and Donny Brook Boys, The Indigents, and Concrete Trampoline. That is one kick ass line-up for a $3.00 donation to the fund. Currently the Legal defense fund is to get DNA testing on the original evidence. No matter what you think of the case, DNA testing is something that should be done, especially since this is a capital case and one of the kids are on death row for a crime with very circumstantial evidence. For more information check out the Free the West Memphis Three site. It’s some interesting reading. Some head out this Saturday (Sept 18th) and show your support.
